STANDARD FACE MASK FORMULA

STANDARD CLAY BATH FORMULA



An easy-to-make face mask to unclog and shrink the pores and leave the skin clean and blemish free.

  1. Combine 1 tablespoon of powder with 4 tablespoons of water in a non-metal bowl. Mix with a non-metal utensil until the clay has the consistency of a paste*
  2. Add ½ teaspoon of an essential oil or honey (optional)
  3. Apply the New Zealand Glacial Clay face mask using circular movements, avoiding the eye area
  4. Leave the face mask on for 10-15 minutes
  5. Gently rinse the face mask off with warm water and a wash cloth
  6. Pat face dry

A simple clay bath formula to dispel toxins and leave the skin feeling relaxed, smooth and hydrated.

  1. Mix 1-2 cups of New Zealand Glacial Clay powder with 8 cups of warm water, to create a slurry
  2. Fill the bath to a temperature comfortable to you
  3. While the bath is filling, add the New Zealand Glacial Clay slurry and and essential oils you may wish to include
  4. Continue to mix with the bath while it fills, removing any lumps that may appear
  5. Before entering the bath, shower to remove any excess bacteria or toxins from the skin
  6. Soak for 20 minutes with as much of your body submerged as possible
  7. At the end of the bath, shower to remove any residual clay
  8. Pat dry and moisturise the skin

OILY SKIN FACE MASK FORMULA


A variation of the standard face mask formula, specifically designed for users with oily or acne-prone skin.

  1. Combine 1 tablespoon of powder with 4 tablespoons of water in a non-metal bowl*
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or a few drops of jojoba oil
  3. Mix with a non-metal utensil until the clay has the consistency of a paste*
  4. Apply the New Zealand Glacial Clay face mask using circular movements, avoiding the eye area
  5. Leave the face mask on for 10-15 minutes
  6. Gently rinse the face mask off with warm water and a wash cloth
  7. Pat face dry

DRY SKIN FACE MASK FORMULA


A variation of the standard face mask formula, specifically designed for users with dry skin.

  1. Combine 1 tablespoon of powder with 4 tablespoons of water in a non-metal bowl*
  2. Add 1/4 cup of mashed avocado
  3. Mix with a non-metal utensil until the clay has the consistency of a paste*
  4. Apply the New Zealand Glacial Clay face mask using circular movements, avoiding the eye area
  5. Leave the face mask on for 10-15 minutes
  6. Gently rinse the face mask off with warm water and a wash cloth
  7. Pat face dry

*Note: do not use a metallic bowl or metallic instruments when mixing your New Zealand Glacial Clay formula, as the minerals within can interact with the metal and generate irregular results.
